railway station public transport quality food
the location worked well. the railway station was close. it was easy to use public transport. the quality of food was good. the hotel provided comforts. the breakfast was one of the best i have had.

Decent Stay with Minor Issues

The location proved very convenient as it was close to amenities. The bar staff was particularly friendly, knowledgeable about entertainment, and had a great sense of humor. Check-in and check-out were both smooth processes, I had no issues.
The hotel seemed a bit older, so I could hear some noise as people moved around in the halls and on upper floors. The entrance hall also looked quite run-down. It needs painting and refurbishment. Table mats in the restaurant was old.

charming highland getaway
convenient location friendly staff fun atmosphere
the hotel's location was very convenient! it served as a great stop after a trip from the outer hebrides. i found the staff quite friendly. the restaurant had numerous choices for both adults and kids. the bagpiper playing out front created a fun atmosphere that everyone seemed to love.
my room was located above the bar. the band played quite late! the floor vibrated from the noise, not ideal for sleeping.

The room was spacious. it had all necessary facilities. the bed was comfortable. I slept well! the design included nice furniture, such as a desk and a bedside table with lamps, providing good light for reading.

charming scottish getaway!
central location free car park good drinks tasty breakfast
I loved the central location. It made walking to local shops easy. the free large car park was very useful, as i had a car. i enjoyed visiting the barwith a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. the room was clean. The breakfast was tasty, with ample cooked-to-order options.
The receptionist was a little terse when i arrived early. It could have been more cute

great location nearby shops
The location is great for accessing nearby shops and the train station. The hotel is right next to the high street (perfect for a stroll).
The receptionist was not very cute upon arrival. I tried to book dinner earlier this year, only to be told it was not possible (I was a bit disappointed).

good size ideal location small room limited parking
the staff was friendly and helpful. my room was a good size , as was the bathroom , and both had everything i needed. the location is ideal , directly opposite the train station.
the room was really stuffy and tiny , i felt quite confined. parking was limited because there was an ongoing wedding , it was difficult to find a spot.

This hotel has parking. i found the location convenient. the restaurant offered nice scottish meals. i enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The variety was great. in the evening, a bagpiper played outside for a half hour. the sound was festive.
the room was slightly small for my preference, but it was manageable.
